My little lamb

Owen was a little lamb in our church's Christmas program.  Well I say that loosely, as he didn't really participate here either.  Seems to be a theme with him lately.  Can I just say, thank God he's my 3rd and not my 1st because I've learned to roll with things (like this) that he throws my way, more now than I ever would have with my 1st.  :)

He didn't sing.  He didn't jingle his jingle bells.  He didn't sit when he was supposed to sit.  Do you know what he DID do?  He kept repeating, "I don't look like a sheep, I look like a CAT!"

"But I look like a cat!"

"Mama!  I look like a CAT, not a SHEEP!!"

...and he did have a point....  ;)

The real point is, he knows what a Christmas program is, and he knows why we do ALL these crazy and fun things in December, leading up to Christmas.  Participate or not, he has heard the stories, the carols and done the activities that are all teaching him the real reason for the season.  Our Savior's birth.

Maybe he'll do better next year?
