Christmas prep, continued...

This is my living room tree.  It's remained pretty well unchanged for several years.  It's got all white lights and coordinating gold and ivory ornaments.  I've wanted to change it to silver and red, but can't bear giving up my angel at the top, and she's ivory and gold, so for now it remains unchanged, for a few more years, anyway.  :)

For the most part, this tree's ornaments are there because they match...

...but I still have some that mean a lot to me...my crystal nativity ornament...

...and this ornament that hung on my family tree, growing up.  As you can see, by the date (1985), it's over 25 years old.  The saying on it is a good reminder for all of us during the hectic holiday season.  "Christmas...a time to think of those who have given us so much."

My mantle is home to the kids' stockings, and my Christmas village.

Aside from some garland on my stairs, that's pretty much my decorations for the upstairs living room.  Next, on my Christmas home tour...my basement tree...
