Christmas prep has begun!!

Every year, my mom made hundreds of her famous sugar cookies.  They are one of many happy memories I have from my childhood.  My mom knows how to "do" Christmas!  :)  This year, my cast of helpers included Owen and Nat.  (Mariah was off...somewhere...she's always off...somewhere)  :)

They took their jobs very seriously... 


...and they each took turns, measuring, dumping and stirring.


Once they were mixed, we chilled the dough and licked the beaters.  :)


After the dough had chilled for a few hours, the real work began!  They worked like busy little bees and did a fantastic job!  :)




And just because I can't post without including some of our goofy outtakes...heeeeere's OWEN!  ;)




I expected Owen, as least, to get bored and move on, but they were both with me until the bitter end!
