I think I'll take a moment, celebrate my age
The ending of an era and the turning of a page
Now its time to focus in on where I go from here
Lord have mercy on my next thirty years
Hey my next thirty years I'm gonna have some fun
Try to forget about all the crazy things I've done
Maybe now I've conquered all my adolescent fears
And Ill do it better in my next thirty years
My next thirty years I'm gonna settle all the scores
Cry a little less, laugh a little more
Find a world of happiness without the hate and fear
Figure out just what I'm doing here
In my next thirty years
Oh my next thirty years, I'm gonna watch my weight
Eat a few more salads and not stay up so late
Drink a little lemonade and not so many beers
Maybe Ill remember my next thirty years
My next thirty years will be the best years of my life
Raise a little family and hang out with my wife
Spend precious moments with the ones that I hold dear
Make up for lost time here, in my next thirty years.

My friends and family ROCK! Erica organized a surprise birthday party for me. This, my friends, is not an easy feat. It's been attempted before, but never achieved. I'm that kid...the one who always peeked and knew exactly what she was getting at Christmas. The same girl who learned too early of a "surprise" 16th birthday party, and about gave my friend who was supposed to distract me for "this" long, a heart attack because I kept finding reasons why *not* to go home. :oP (sorry, Eve...I owe you one buddy!) My mom...my own mother was baiting me too!
Mom: "Has Erica mentioned anything about your birthday?"
Me: "No."
Mom: "Do you think she's forgotten?"
Me: "Oh I don't know." *thinking* I'm not 12 anymore...do I honestly still expect anyone to even remember my birthday? This one's it anyway. I'm not counting anymore. ;o)
Stinkers. They got me. Got me GOOD! Thanks guys, you are awesome!!
