Always the fearless lil' guy...

We had kind of a crazy fall in 2008. In August, Natalie was diagnosed with Wolfe Parkinson White Syndrome. In a nutshell, she had an extra (or faulty?) electrical wire that would cause her heart to beat crazy-fast. Her normal resting heart rate was in the mid 70's and when she'd have an episode, her tachycardic rate was in the mid 220's. We had surgery to correct it a couple of months later, and she's been A-OK since. After all that stress, and a successful surgery, we hopped out of town for Thanksgiving for some much needed family recharge time. We headed to Branson, MO and went to Silver Dollar City. MUCH needed! And, our baby girl was able to ride the rides, that before would have been a definite NO-go, as it would have sent her little heart into warp-speed.

Baby girl...

Ok, so this isn't really a Christmas picture, other than the Christmas tree box being in the background, but I just had to include it...look at lil' man. Ohmygoodness...I wanna just eat him up! :)

Mariah, always smiling. Always dependable. I love her with all my heart.

Daddy always having to divide the honors of putting the angel up with the two girls. :)
