End of another season...

The end-of-season Cross Country awards banquet was a wonderful event.  It's been such a blast to watch how much the team has grown and changed in the 2 short years Mariah has been a part of it.  The sophomores make up the biggest part of the team, and what an awesome group of kiddos they are!  Wonderful coaches, awesome teammates, and a top 10 in the state finish for the year.  These girls have a LOT to smile about!


Mariah getting her 2nd Cross Country high school letter, as a sophomore.  As of this year, only 18 kids, in the life of the school, have earned 4 consecutive letters in Cross Country.  It was heart warming to watch the 2 of this year's seniors be added to this elite group of runners.  W.O.W.

Ok, photograMama's faux pax of the night...should have switched to a wider angle lens.  This is the sophomores...and I couldn't even get them all in!

Well done kiddos!  It takes a lot of heart, not to mention GUTS, to race a 2.5 mile race week, after week after week.  Many of these kiddos don't even drink SODA, to stay in optimal condition for Cross Country.  Now that's dedication!!
