Kindergarten!

The day has finally come.  Owen is off to Kindergarten!  After 16 years, we are officially no longer parents to preschool age children.

Here is Owen on back-to-school night where he got to tour his new school and meet his teacher.  He was pretty impressed he got a locker!  :)


Here's Mr. 6.am...who just so happens to have finally mastered the art of sleeping in, 2 weeks before school started.  (of course he did.)  He had to be woken up.  :)

He did great!  He's still doing great.  He was a little surprised that he has school EVERY day, as preschool was only M/W/F, last year.  I figured that one was coming.  He's handling it all very well, and has managed to have all great days where he stayed on the color green.  (yellow is a warning and red is big trouble)

We're so proud of you, Owen Gerad.  You are such a delight!  My prayer is for you to always do your best in whatever you do, and that you have a blessed Kindergarten year.

(and Mama's trying not to think about the fact that her baby boy is off to the big school.)
