This post is dedicated to my oldest, my first baby, ~M~
- she is wildly artistic ~ if she does a project at school that involves her drawing something, she rarely gets to bring it home, as the teachers frequently want to keep it for *next year's example*
- her favorite thing to draw is animals
- she's been an avid animal lover since she was a little bitty thing
- she *LOVES* sports and has played recreational soccer for the past 7 years
- this year is the first year she's been able to participate in school sports (they start in 7th grade here) and she is LOVING it.
- she ran cross country and was the top female runner for her school, receiving medals in all but one of the cross country meets
- she made the 7th grade basketball team, and isn't intimidated at all by the 6am practices
- she loves to go on runs with her dad ~ he says it won't be long at all before he can't keep up with HER.
- she dribbled the basketball for their last couple of their 2 mile runs
- she's fiercely loyal
- she amazingly organized and responsible
- she has an awesome sense of humor
- she is phenomenal with kids...~O~ being her biggest fan
- she is black and white, and unwavering on what she believes is right
- her style is much like her mama's ~ give her jeans, t-shirts and a pair of tennis shoes and girlie is SET.
- she loves her Christian music ~ Toby Mac being a favorite right now
- she's thoughtful...if she sees you bringing in groceries, she'll jump up to help you, without being asked. (Same goes for unloading the dishwasher...she'll just do it ~ amazing!!)
- her favorite colors are blue and green
- her favorite food is Ramen noodles, and peanut butter and honey sandwiches
- she doesn't drink pop (anymore) and LOVES Naked ~ green machine ~ juice.
M has such a unique set of characteristics ~ she is just an all-around amazing kid. Fun to be around, trustworthy, responsible, humorous, bubbly... You know, I used to be scared of being a mom to an "older" child, but I can say with all honesty, I absolutely LOVE having a 12 year old! LOVE it!
