The hunt...

So, after coloring Easter eggs, we had a little egg hunt in our yard.  For Owen, of course.


We gave him a 30 second head start, since he's so much younger than the others.  He was impressed they came out with such enthusiasm!  (Impressed, and maybe a wee bit intimidated)


Oh no, these teenagers were NOT just hunting eggs to satisfy their younger family member...


...they were out for BLOOD!


Wrestling...shoving...screaming...hitting...you know...just a typical Easter around here.




Gerad looks on in awe of our off-spring, and their cousins' intensity.  Awe, and good humor.  I love that about him.


And *this* would be WHY we have to give Owen a head start!  My goodness!  He'd be trampled!!

What awesome kiddos!  Just goes to show...you're never too old for an egg hunt.
