Prom

What a whirlwind!  I'm glad I had my camera along for the day!  Bright and early, Mariah headed off to school to take the ACT.  While Mariah was at the ACT, Gerad ran a 1/2 marathon.  As soon as Mariah got home from taking her test, we headed off to let Kathy work her magic.  (Gerad and my mom took Owen to his soccer game while we were there)


Immediately after we got home from her hair appointment, she starts in on her make-up.


Natalie grabbed the camera and started shooting.  Here we are consulting over her eye make-up.


With no time to spare, we head out to take a few pictures of her with all of us before her date shows up.


Always have to try for a serious one...


...but as you can see, it never lasts long.  This is more like her:


Mariah and her boyfriend as we wait for the others to arrive.


Clearly, Owen was impressed by all the hubbub.


Time to pin on the bout!


She was fiercely determined to do it herself.  (minor flashback to her at the age of 4...determination still present)  :)
