The tower...

While we were at the park, I decided I wanted to take the kids to the lookout tower.  I hadn't been there since I took Gerad there when we were dating, so I was super excited to experience it almost 18 years later, with our kids in tow!




I loved the old details...




I loved the magnificent views...


Wow...


I loved sharing it with my kids...


What I didn't love is how HIGH it is...and holy cow does it SWAY in the wind!!  Then I started wondering how the antique was still even standing...and then I decided I wanted to go back down.  ;)

I do NOT remember that thing being so scary!!!

Funny how much my perspective has changed in 18 years!  ;)
