Basement project, take 1

We finished our basement!! It's SO nice to have that extra space! We've moved our TV downstairs, and my house is already SO much quieter! TV is already much less a part of our day, with it moved out of our main living space. I love it!

I, of course, photo documented the process...here's a few shots for today. :) Owen loved when the sheet rock was delivered! The brought it on a huge truck, and then a big machine arm brought it right to our front door for the guys to carry down to the basement, by hand. SUPER cool! Owen LOVED helping Daddy in the basement. We had a fantastic contractor, but we did a few things ourselves to save money. Gerad would set Owen up with a hammer and a randomly placed nail, and he had unlimited fun! :)

After day 1: Framing totally complete!

The girls were DYING to get down there to see what they had done on the basement while they were at school. :)
