Out of the blue, we received a post card from one of Mariah's teachers. "Good News" is what it says, and it reads:
"Just wanted to drop you a line to say what a pleasure it is to have Mariah in class and to have worked with her in basketball. She is always working so hard and is polite and considerate to everyone. She is great to be around because she seems to appreciate everything. Thanks for sending her to us.
Signed,
One of her 8th grade teachers"
(I KNEW I liked that teacher!!)
We are so fortunate to have such phenomenal educators influencing our kiddos. A positive note like this goes a REALLY long way to an almost-14yr-old-girl. It really is true...teachers can touch a life forever.
